We can note that since the fees have been abolished the number of single claims have doubled. It hence clear that the fees were putting off people from making a claim against their employer. Over the three months to December 31st, around 8,000 single claims were filed at the Tribunal. This means that there was a 16% increase compared to the previous quarter and the highest level since the 3rd quarter of 2013.
