Borg Knight Solicitors and Griffin Law will hold a workshop with regards to Social Media at the Work place on 5 February 2013

The first presentation will be delivered by Roselyn Knight and it will give guidance to assist employers/HR Managers in relation to social networking. If you want to protect your organisation from “facebook comments” posted by employees we will give you advice on how to do this in practice.

The second presentation will be delivered by Donal Blaney and he will talk about cyber harassment in the workplace, exploring issues surrounding unmasking anonymous cyber-bullies who set out to damage businesses and the lives and reputations of business owners, managers and fellow employees (often after they leave employment).The workshop is free of charge and will be held at Kings Hill, West Malling, Kent. Borg Knight Solicitors was a proud sponsor of the European Women Lawyers Association Congress which was held in Berlin on the 4 November 2011.  This Congress was a great success having a number of European lawyers attending it. The speakers addressed the following topics: the Venice Commission, The European Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence and an overview of the most progressive European Legislation concerning women. There were also a number of workshops followed by the General Assembly. Dr. Roselyn Knight was elected as one of the Vice-Presidents together with Regula Kagi-Diener and Dace Liga Luters-Thummel.
